What Do We Offer?

The Play and Leisure Opportunity Library membership includes:
  • Specialist and therapeutic toys or leisure equipment on loan for a month at a time (up to two items).

  • A collection and delivery service within the Swansea locality (subject to funding).

  • Advice and support on activities and tips to use your leisure equipment appropriately. We are always happy to listen and provide support for families and carers.

  • Practical strategies to manage behaviour to encourage Play Skills, for all ages.

  • Information on other services available in the community.

  • Play sessions at home if you are finding it particularly hard to engage in play (subject to staff resources and funding).

  • Stay and Play Sessions for children at our centre.

  • Big Play sessions for adults at our centre.

  • After School Sessions.

  • Siblings can also use the service for an additional fee.

What is Stay and Play?
 

Stay and Play is a calm, structured, therapeutic session where a child, with their family, can engage in a variety of sensory and play activities.

All Stay and Play sessions are fully supported by our experienced staff.

What are After School Sessions?
 

Our After School sessions run twice weekly during term time.

Monday sessions are 6 week rolling programmes of themed activities, such as Art and Craft, Zumba, Construction, etc.

Wednesday sessions are Stay and Play style sessions with a variety of sensory and other play activities available.
       
What are Home Visit Sessions?
 

If you are finding it particularly hard to engage in play, we are able to offer a block of Play sessions at home, tailored to your childs individual needs, subject to staff resources and funding.
 
       
What is Big Play?
 

Big Play is an opportunity for our more mature members to access a therapeutic play session designed to meet their needs. Activities at each session are themed and change each month.
